Questions to Ask Potential Daycare Centers – Part 4
Not all childcare centers are created equal. Whether your child is in daycare one or five days a week, you need to find the care center that will give your child what he or she needs. Asking good questions is the best way to find the childcare provider your child needs. In the past blog, we offered two questions you can ask, including how background checks are handled. Today, we have two more important questions to ask every daycare you consider.
Do you have certifications?
You should know what certifications each provider has. We recommend that you choose someone with CPR and First Aid certifications at least. If they have extra training in other pertinent areas, that is great.
What do you charge? Are there additional fees I will need to pay?
You don’t want to be surprised when it comes to cost. Take the time to understand just what you will be paying for. Is there a chance that a daycare offers discounts for your employer? Are there extra costs that come up throughout the year for special events? Get the big picture, and you’ll feel much more confident.
At the Texas Children’s Academy, we know that children don’t need to nap and play and snack – they need to learn. We also know that you need to feel close, and that is why we offer our Watch Me Grow program, which allows you to see into our facility and watch your child at any time.
